Purpose / Description
Supports registered Ngāti Porou uri enrolled full-time (Level 5 or higher) to achieve qualifications that strengthen our iwi. While study fields can be broad, applicants must show how their journey contributes to reo/tikanga, cultural integrity, and long-term Ngāti Porou development.

Eligibility & Criteria

• Must be a registered member of Te Rūnanganui o Ngāti Porou.
• Enrolled full-time with an NZ tertiary provider, in a Level 5+ programme.
• Provide: verified bank slip/statement and confirmation of enrolment.

Application Process

1. Prepare documents: bank verification and enrolment confirmation (endorsement optional).
2. Complete online form: provide personal/study details and responses aligned to the Funding Matrix (reo/tikanga impact, cultural integrity, reach, sustainability).
3. Assessment & decision: scored against the Toitū Funding Matrix. Outcomes are Green (Fund), Orange (Conditional), or Red (Decline).
