This grant supports groups or teams to deliver kaupapa that celebrate, strengthen and advance our culture that align with the Toitū Ngāti Porou Trust Deed and benefit our people.  The maximum amount applicable per group/event application is $1,250.

Group applicants must

• Be not-for-profit Community Groups / Teams with demonstrated links / whakapapa to Ngāti Porou

• Marae, Hapū within Ngāti Porou, Tairāwhiti Rohe.

• A minimum of 2 people in the roopu will be of Ngāti Porou descent.

• Be registered on TRONPnui database (18+ years and over) OR, Under 18 acknowledgement of whakapapa provided and /signed by Pakeke / Kaumātua o Ngāti Porou / Adult registered member on TRONPnui database.

• Provide a detailed breakdown of costs associated with the activity that shows the team and or individual monetary input to date and why they are applying for sponsorship.

• Submit the fully completed application on the request form provided within the timeframe specified.

• Reside within Aotearoa.

• Ensure that Toitū Ngāti Porou are not bought into disrepute.
