Rohenga Tipuna Administration Grant

The Rohenga Tipuna Administration Grant invests in mandated, compliant entities to strengthen hapū capacity through administration roles and systems. Funding enables hapū to organise, govern, and deliver kaupapa that support reo, tikanga, and Ngāti Porou development. Applications are assessed against the Toitū Funding Matrix and compliance requirements.

Toitū Ngāti Porou Cultural Grant

Supporting registered Ngāti Porou individuals, whānau, and groups to deliver kaupapa that celebrate, strengthen and advance our culture across four funding tiers. Funding is available for all activities that align with the Toitū Ngāti Porou Trust Deed and benefit our people. Grants may support one-off events or ongoing programmes, with all applications assessed against the Toitū Funding Matrix.

Whakanuia Matariki Grant

Funding supports Ngāti Porou-anchored Matariki kaupapa across Whanau, Hapu, Marae and community groups in Ngati Porou Rohe to celebrate Matariki and strengthen cultural knowledge. With $10,000 per Rohenga Tipuna available (can fund one entity or be split).

“Porourangi to reo Rangatira, korerotia!” Ko Te Reo me ona Tikanga hai taonga tuku iho, hai kawenga katoa enei mo Ngati Porou. Ma enei tanga hai waka kawe mo nga tini reo a o tatau matua tipuna, kia mau ai ki te mana o te iwi, kia whakahonohono ai tatau ki o tatau maunga whakahi, awa me nga whanau, hakoa kai whea tatau e noho ana. Kai te rito o Toitu Ngati Porou, ma nga matapono e arahi a matau mahi – te whakarauora reo, te toitu nga tikanga me te whakamana uri – kia hihiri ai, kia upoko pakaru ai, kia whaihua ai hoki to tatau Ngati Poroutanga mo nga uri whakatipu.
